Orisa is NERFED! But is it enough? Overwatch PTR balance update is live. DVa sees her booster cool-down reduced from 5 to 3 seconds. Baptiste, Mei, Hanzo, Orisa and Doomfist get nerfed. But are these changes enough? I think I can see what Blizzard are trying to do here, but it all seems boring and kinda weak tbh. Maybe we're just starved for content? These changes seem very safe and conservative. Which leads towards them being rather boring. Maybe it's just me, I don't know? What do you guys think? Do you think Blizzard spend too much time trying to actually perfectly balance Overwatch (and failing) when in reality they should focused on making fun and interesting changes regular - so what if they mess the meta up? If they increase patch cycles they could fix any issues within weeks? Is that something they're even physically capable of doing?
Another thing. Why is the PTR never used to it's full capacity? Why do Blizzard insist on making balance changes internally, then throwing them on PTR (and never changing them while they're on ptr - bar a few examples throughout the games history). Why not throw the mad changes on PTR all the time? Let players experience them? Maybe the devs would collect valuable data? Who knows...
We really need some new content for Overwatch!
